The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was the Luftwaffe's main fighter during World War II, with around 35,000 units produced between 1936 and 1945. Its maiden flight took place in 1935. Throughout the conflict, it received several versions featuring improvements in engine, aerodynamics, and armament. The E, F, G, and K versions were among the most important, with the Bf 109 G being the most produced. The aircraft saw combat in Spain, France, England, North Africa, and the Eastern Front, standing out for its speed, performance, and adaptability. The G-6 version reached a top speed of around 640 km/h, had a range of 850 km, and was armed with two 13 mm machine guns and one 20 mm cannon.
